digital capabilities include

We have mobile and on site scanning devices which provide the ability to create accurate 3-D files of objects of almost any size and complexity. The data from the scan is manipulated to facilitate the enlargement or shrinking of the work piece to a desired scale.
Tom Sachs Wind-Up Hello Kitty Bronze 2008 Installed at Lever House, New York City Started at 12″ and was enlarged to 30ft tall.
Our 4-axis milling machine is an incredible tool for recreating the scanned object, most often in a foam “pattern”. This provides a fast and economical opportunity to realize a change in the scale of the work, and to prepare the “pattern” for molds/casting or other uses. Organic forms and complicated surfaces are ideal for this process.
Perfect for realizing the geometric or symmetrical, hot wire allows us to rapidly cut shapes and patterns in foam for sculpture, architecture, and design components. Similar to the milling technology, it provides the client with a quick pattern in a reduced or enlarged size.

I’m really passionate about helping people be the best that they can be.

While many projects are simple and direct, some are profoundly complex. The team at Bollinger Atelier transforms your idea or model into a finished piece, regardless of technical difficulty.

Our team’s combination of structural engineering, research and development, and design experience ensures that the work we produce is not only aesthetically astute but structurally sound.
