Hugh Hayden’s work explores the human condition, transforming familiar objects into sculptural forms that challenge perceptions of identity, environment, and social dynamics. Trained as an architect and deeply connected to organic materials, Hayden combines and reshapes found and culturally charged materials into layered, hybrid compositions.
Born in Dallas, Texas, in 1983, Hayden lives and works in New York City and holds degrees from Cornell University and Columbia University.
At Bollinger Atelier, Hayden’s digital renderings and 3D scans often serve as the starting point for the foundry process, guiding enlargement, fabrication, and bronze casting while preserving the integrity of the original sculptural form.
